Doug Mayfield
I'm a graphic designer from Cincinnati, OH specializing in screen printing and book design. I attended DAAP at the University of Cincinnati for three years and then spent two years at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, studying print media and book design. After graduating in 2008, I spent a year working as a book designer in the fine art department of F+W Media in Cincinnati.

As an artist and designer, I draw inspiration from a disparate range of sources, including everything from vintage basketball logos and athletic shoes to '60s psychedelic posters and 20th-century modernist typography. I see the world from an artistic point of view, seeking to apply art and design to any of my particular momentary interests.
