I designed this layout while working as the Lead Designer at (614) Magazine. The article was for the December 2015 issue, and it recapped 100 different stories from throughout the year in Columbus, OH. We used the 💯 emoji as a theme, and sprinkled various other emojis throughout the article to enhance the content. This was a very fun article to design because it was so unique. It was also very time consuming and meticulous, because it wasn’t written in a typical free-flowing style and it spanned across six spreads.
