While working as the Production Designer at Grandin Road, one responsibility that I took pride in was designing media lookbooks. These were booklets that were sent out to media companies, magazines, television networks, and bloggers to get press and exposure for the products. I collaborated with the Marketing, Editorial, and Merchandising departments to complete these projects. The Marketing team would start out the project by providing a list of stories to be featured, and I would then look through the photography library and create layouts to tell those stories. For this particular lookbook, they requested stories showing different guest room looks, throw pillow mixing and matching, and organization solutions. I had a lot of creative freedom when designing these media lookbooks, so they were always fun and inspiring projects.
