While working as the Production Designer at Grandin Road, one project I took on was to develop a new concept for their package stuffers. These are small cards that are placed into all of the packages sent to customers, and they include offers to entice them to make more purchases. Grandin Road had been using the graphic orange and white design shown below, which included silhouettes of some products that were no longer available. My idea was to use photography of current products to help drive more interest in new items. I incorporated the colorful backgrounds behind the products to help the cards stand out inside of the packages. With my updated concept, customers who made multiple purchases throughout the year would receive refreshed versions of these package stuffers instead of receiving the same orange and white design over and over again. The Marketing team helped implement this new campaign, which significantly boosted sales in comparison to the old orange and white design.
