I designed this door mat during my time at Grandin Road. I began with the graphic illustration of the pineapple, and then added the “aloha” next to it, which features a circular slice of pineapple as the “O.” It was very cool to read some of the reviews of this door mat on the website. This particular one stood out to me:

“Love this mat! A beautiful reminder of the happiest time in my life when I lived in Kailua, Hawaii. It is such an appropriate greeting to all. Reminds me that island time is the best and to slow down and smell the plumeria! Mahalo.”
